Inspired by the Charles Bukowski poem “Oh Yes”, this work confronts the paradox of existence.
In direct opposition to the title, the word NO is the focus. A bold, day glo pink N juxtaposed with a golden disc, almost halo-like, around a playful skull depicted naively.
Chapter 13 from Proverbs, literally ripped from the Old Testament, is out of place and context. It’s presented as an inverted flame, or perhaps burying itself into Earth (or our psyche).
