Hello! We’re Mel and Mike, the people behind Richardson Associates.

We’ve been married for nearly 40 years and share a passion for making art, crafting, and collecting. We’ve grown our collection so much that we have decided to use all our knowledge and experience to deal in mid-century ceramics, furniture, homewares, and general things of retro beauty harking back to our childhoods.

Mike studied Art and History of Art at Cambridge College of Arts & Technology and has been painting, writing, and making music ever since. Mike loves abstract art, brutalist aesthetics, and post-modern literature and design.

Mel loves sewing, crafting, and making old, tired mid-century look as good as (or even better than!) new – especially sewing boxes.
